About Us

I’m Wendy, a proud Army veteran with over 20 years of service. I wore many hats in my time—from truck driver to Civil Affairs NCO, Spectrum Manager, and Electronic Warfare Technician. My service took me to combat zones, Africa, and Europe. Through it all, I mentored many soldiers, encouraging them to pursue civilian education and take every opportunity to grow.

I’m a mother of three and grandmother of two. Horses have always been a part of my life, and now I’m bringing that passion forward through Ryder’s Riverside Trails—a place where people can experience healing, freedom, and connection through horses and the natural world.

History of the Farm

Ryder’s Riverside Trails was born from both legacy and dream. In the early 2000s, my father owned a trail riding business on Ossipee Mountain Road. At the time, I was serving in the Army and couldn’t be involved, but the idea of one day starting my own never left me. Years later, with my military career behind me, I’ve returned to the mountains and rivers I grew up around to carry on that legacy—this time, with my own vision.
